DJ AG is set to bring his signature energy to the 2026 Jr. NBA 3v3 Finals at Trafalgar Square, London on Thursday 9th July – turning one of the city’s most iconic spaces into a celebration of basketball, youth culture and creativity.

Now in its second year, Jr. NBA 3v3 is a free, London-wide programme inspiring more young people to play the game. Following a breakout first year that engaged over 9,000 participants, the competition returns even bigger this summer. Secondary school students from across London have been taking part in qualifier competitions since March and the 3v3 tournament will culminate in a one-day final event where some of London’s top young players – from years 9–11 (ages 13-16) – compete in front of a live crowd, in the heart of the capital.

Adding to the star power on court, social media sensation and well-known Londoner, DJ AG, will be driving courtside energy, as the Jr. NBA 3v3 Finals culminates with a creator NBA 3X basketball tournament in collaboration with Foot Locker, featuring DJ AG, Darkest Man, Harry Pinero, Elz the Witch and The Royal Guard as team captains.

Trafalgar Square will transform into a must-see basketball venue, blending elite youth competition, wheelchair basketball and fan activations in collaboration with Foot Locker. Including the Foot Locker “Dome Drop,” an interactive challenge where fans step inside a dome and race against the clock to catch flying tickets. The more tickets they grab, the more rewards they unlock, from live sneaker customisation to exclusive upgrades, alongside an NBA arcade featuring basketball pop-a-shot machines, photo opportunities including with the Larry O’Brien Trophy, and live entertainment across three courts.

An NBA team mascot will also make a special appearance, bringing a taste of NBA arena energy to London, as excitement builds towards The NBA Manchester Game 2027 at Co-op Live in Manchester, on Sunday, Jan. 17, featuring the New Orleans Pelicans and the San Antonio Spurs.

Organised by London Marathon Events (LME) in collaboration with the NBA, and supported by the Mayor of London, the Jr. NBA 3v3 Finals reflect the growing momentum of 3v3 basketball at the intersection of sport, culture and grassroots participation, while positioning Trafalgar Square as the stage for the next generation of the game in the capital.
