Vueling, top operator at Bilbao airport, is launching additional flights next week to help eager Manchester United and Tottenham fans see their teams go head-to-head at the Europa League final in Bilbao.
Vueling is putting on four special flights between Manchester and Bilbao on May 20th and 21st, prior to the game, returning on May 22nd and 23rd, after the game. This will give excited United fans a convenient option to get to the Spanish city, where the two teams will thrash it out at the iconic San Mamés Stadium.
Vueling is also increasing its flight frequency from Gatwick to Bilbao, with four additional outbound flights on May 20th and 21st and three return flights on May 22nd, enabling Tottenham Hotspur fans – and Manchester United fans based in London – to travel to the highly anticipated game.
In addition to its regular schedule of three daily flights from London Gatwick and one daily flight from London Heathrow to Bilbao, Vueling is adding 11 extra flights in total.
These additional flights demonstrate Vueling’s commitment to connecting the UK to cities across Spain. Bilbao is famous for its industrial heritage and iconic cultural centres, making it the perfect location for Brits to explore while there for the game.
