Barchester’s Bushey House Beaumont care home in Bushey are celebrating because their Deputy Manager, Nola Moorut, has been shortlisted in the Exceptional Care Home Nurse of the Year category of the Stars of Social Care Awards.
The awards, which are split into Home Care and Care Home categories, shine a light on the stars of social care, paying tribute to the workforce, who through dedication and a commitment to care, go above and beyond to support those who are most vulnerable in our society.
Hundreds of nominations were received from homes and hospitals across the UK. All entries were a very high standard and the staff and residents at Bushey House Beaumont are over the moon to have been shortlisted, beating hundreds of other nominees to make the final line up. The awards take place on June 21 and then Nola will know if she has been crowned the winner.
General Manager of Bushey House, Mary Jane Bague, said: “It is so wonderful for Nola to be recognised for doing the job that they love. Everyone at the home is delighted for them and so proud, they are already a winner in our eyes no matter what happens on June 21!”
