A new dental implant clinic has opened in Colchester, led by one of the UK’s most experienced implant dentists.
Love Implants, based at Hythe Station Road, is the practice of Dr Andrew Fennell, who has placed over 7,000 implants in 20 years.
Alongside routine implant treatment, the clinic focuses on the complex cases many practices won’t take on: failed implants, severe bone loss, and corrective work, including for patients who travelled abroad for cheaper treatment and returned with problems.
Dr Fennell offers every patient a free consultation and a free CT scan, a 3D jaw scan most clinics charge between £100 and £300 for.
“People are nervous about implants, and cost is a big part of that,” he said. “Charging someone just to find out whether treatment is even possible pushes them towards decisions they don’t fully understand. I’d rather they had the full picture first.”
