The film is highly anticipated because the manga did so amazingly well that it gained a lot of fans online. So much so that figurines of characters like Sasaki Haise have been produced and can be bought by fans on sites such as Solaris Japan. It’s hoped that the manga will be appreciated by more people after the film is released.

A thrilling reimagining of the breakout hit manga, “Tokyo Ghoul” is a gruesome delicacy that not only opens up the original’s captivating world to whole new audiences, but provides a gourmet feast for existing fans – earning deserved praise for its faithfulness to the source material in a climate where fans feel justified in hesitation towards live-action adaptations.

The flick was directed by Kentarô Hagiwara whilst the Original Story was by Sui Ishida and famed Composer Don Davis didn’t disappoint!
