Model Grace J Teal has been taking time out her photo shoots to raise awareness about anxiety and how to deal with it. This is an important topic, that a lot of people struggle, there is not just one solution. Some people cope fine by themselves, whilst other people might need to make use of things like CBD (from companies like buymellow) to help keep them calm. This is a tough subject for a lot of people, but it’s important that they realise that they are not alone and that there is always a solution. So it’s great that Grace J Teal is happy to raise awareness for anxiety, as well as a potential move to the world of presenting, we pulled her in for a chat to get the full lowdown.

Q. Tell our readers who is Grace J Teal?

Hello I’m Grace I am a northern girl born and bred from Lincolnshire, I am a published model and Anxiety awareness campaigner.

Q. How long has the modelling been going for and what drew you to it ?

The modelling has been going awesome I have recently featured in Lethal Bizzle’s new music video Celebrate which was epic, the girl jumping around on the bouncy castle nearly getting black eyes is me.

I have also featured in a number of magazines including Front Magazine and the Daily sport.

I used to model when I was young but stopped as I had a professional career at that time and it was frowned upon, I have had a change in career and picked the modelling back up a year ago and it’s gone crazy… feeling blessed right now.

I actually lack a lot of self confidence and when I model it brings out the confidence in me that’s why I started back up again because when I’m behind that camera i feel empowered and confident.

Q. You are working on a campaign to support people with anxiety – can you tell us more?

The campaign is called #ItsOkNotToBeOk it is a campaign to raise awareness of anxiety. I personally suffer from anxiety and I used to keep it to myself. I know people who self-treat it with medication abroad (like with the https://wccannabis.co/buy-weed-online-ontario/ options over in Canada), but this wasn’t something for me. I was embarrassed and thought it would put people off me or people would think I was weird or attention-seeking, since starting the campaign with Beno Ldn I have been overwhelmed with the support everyone is showing towards the campaign and also the amount of people that have spoken out about their anxiety is truly amazing, the number of people that have anxiety has shocked me and it’s made me realize as well as I’m sure others that you’re not alone. It’s no wonder people are searching for alternatives from traditional medicines to help them combat this horrendous inside feeling. Over the years there have been studies on medical marijuana that have helped people combat their anxiety and other related mental health issues, so it is seen as a general positive nowadays. From edibles to an 805 glue strain, people are helping themselves get through it day by day and that should be applauded.

Myself and Beno have a few things in the pipeline with the campaign and we now have Anxiety.UK onboard with us so we are going to do some fundraising for them. The world is becoming more and more aware of the options available for those with anxiety, be it the medical marijuana doctors in florida or further mental health awareness, so it is a positive time for those fighting for more understanding of these illnesses.

Q. What are your plans for the future?

I am currently treading water with my plans for the future as every day new opportunities are coming my way, I would love the campaign to take off massively as it’s something so close to my heart.

I also would like to get into more TV personality things maybe some presenting that would be super cool.
