A local Mum has been revealed as a finalist in the Working Mum of the Year category of Pitman Training’s SuperAchievers awards, announced today, after hundreds of nominations from across the globe were submitted to the business superbrand.

Lauren Heath, is in the running with 2 other finalists, with voting now open to the public, before the judging panel make final decisions.

Celebrating its 180th year Pitman Training is marking this milestone with the opportunity to give back to the community, to help reward people committed to driving their careers forward in a bid to inspire more of the British workforce to strive for more.

All winners will receive a prestigious SuperAchievers Award; a cash prize of £500 to help them on their way to achieving their goals and a free distance learning training course from Pitman Training Group, with additional prizes also including a 1hr personal impact review, ‘Brand YOU,’ which will review the LinkedIn profiles of the winners, to ensure they are effectively presenting themselves for business opportunities.

Lauren works as a PA & Office Manager at a Solicitors firm in Exeter, but around that also finds the time to juggle busy family life with a 6 year old son and contributes as a Food Blogger/writer to Eating Exeter.
Having moved into an administration role to gain a 9-5 job 12 years ago, Lauren has conscientiously moved up the ranks and taken opportunities as they have arisen to progress her PA career. To really push on her professional development and enhance her connections Lauren joined the Exeter PA Network which she found not only brought her new connections but also increased her self-esteem immensely. Since stepping further into the PA community Lauren has featured in Q&A articles and is currently listed at number 23 of the Executive Secretary Top 250 Social Media Power list by Eventopedia, which highlights event professional influencers in UK.

With aspirations to take on further PA responsibilities and ‘bolt-on’ more skills such as event planning and travel management as well as combining a busy family life and blogging and writing on top of that, Lauren demonstrates a clear ‘SuperAchiever’ determination to succeed, progress and enjoy her career.

Winners of the SuperAchievers are determined by a combined judges vote and the public vote. Voting is now open for Lauren at www.pitmansuperachievers.com until 27 April.
