Yessss, Trapdoor  Social have released a little something to kick-start the year in style.

The acclaimed LA based indie rock band released visuals for their new single “Winning As Truth”  which showcases the band’s signature sound of melodic guitars, deep bass and climatic catchy choruses.

The band’s Merritt Graves said “Our latest single takes aim at the idea that successfully gaming the system makes someone ‘right’. It might make them clever and powerful, but it doesn’t make their ideas any more just or their words any more true. These things are determined by inquiry, debate, and discovery, not by taking and bullying other people into submission.”

Trapdoor Social is entering 2017 with a new sense of urgency. After reconstituting itself from a duo to a 5-piece, their eponymous debut album is a raucous, anthemic environmental call to action, erupting with signature blues rock and bass synth riffs. Titled ‘Trapdoor Social,’ it’s the band’s first full-length album, and was the first TDS project that included the work of bassist and guitarist Patrick Griffen and Louie Gonzalez. The first single, “Sunshine,” had national success receiving airplay across the country and winning another “Hall of Fame” Status for the band on Las Vegas’s X107.5 “The Beatdown” as well as staying in the Top 5 of KROQ’s “Locals Only” show for over a month.

Trapdoor Social just released their second single “Winning As Truth,” which is currently receiving major market spins. The band is currently on tour.
